The 3rd phase of reconstruction of the central emergency intake in Prague General University Hospital will take approximately twelve months. The production team of the Bohemian Division will modernize the existing A8 Pavilion where the Radiology and Surgery Clinic reside, and will create a new department of RTG, CT and Magnetic Resonance. The contract was signed on Monday, January 7 which officially launched the construction.
In addition to the construction works, a complete reconstruction of the technological distributions, the heat exchanger and the energy centre is planned. The medical staff will have new facilities, which include doctor’s and nursing rooms, dressing rooms and sanitary facilities.
The General University Hospital is currently one of the main places where emergency patients are taken in Prague. Since the reconstruction of the emergency intake, the hospital management promises above all a greater concentration of care for patients in direct threat to life.
