Out of the total volume of works, OHL ŽS, a.s. implemented the following: Part B: Sewage Collector D – 6th Construction, Part C: Sewer Z – Part III B, Part D: Sewer Z – Part III C, Part F: Sewage Collector D – Stará Bělá.

The total length of Sewage Collector D is 942.46 m and the trenchless technology was applied throughout the entire length of its construction. A traditional drainage tunnel was built only where collector D is connected to the existing collector. The project also included the reconstruction of Husarová Street which was used for the transport on the site during the period of the sewage collection system construction and had to undergo an overall reconstruction after the construction was completed.

Sewer Z III B, which is 694.02 m long in total, was partially constructed by means of the trenchless technology and partially by opencut. The collector itself is made of HOBAS glass-fibre reinforced pipes of various diameters. Under the Mlýnka influent stream in Polanka nad Odrou, two branches of the pipeline run through an inverted siphon made from one monolithic block where both branches are embedded in concrete.

The total length of Sewer Z is 1090.48 m and the sewer is made from DN 500 ceramic pipes. It also includes a three-arm inverted siphon located under the bottom of the Odra River, an overflow distributing header, a sewage influent chamber, a discharge sewer and an outflow structure. 12 inspection shafts were built for the sewer, and the river bank at the place of its outflow is consolidated with stone-pitched facing which is 50 m long. Together with the sewer, a service road was built at the length of 922.15 m for vehicles of the sewage collection network administrator.

The total length of sewage collector D is 4,167 m and was partially constructed by means of trenchless technology, partially by means of traditional drilling, and partially by opencut. The construction of the sewage collector also included the construction of 131 inspection shafts, a sewer overflow, bank lining around the outflow, relocation of the water piping, gas pipeline, telephone cable and the construction of service connections to houses and street inlets. Finally, the affected roads were repaired in their entirety by means of a bituminous mixture.
