A New Pedestrian Bridge Will Lead Over the Mlýnský Brook

A new bridge for pedestrians and cyclists will be built over the Mlýnský Brook in the village of Chomoutov in the Olomouc Region.

The pedestrian bridge will be designed as a steel-concrete, coupled bridge and will make up a part of the future cycle road. The bridge will be nearly 25 m long and 3 m wide. The investor of the construction is the Statutory City of Olomouc; the total cost will reach CZK 3.4 million, including VAT. The project has been implemented by the Bridges Division of the Transport Construction Branch, OHL ŽS, a.s. according to the project design drawn up by the Link projekt s.r.o. company and it is planned to be completed in April 2010.
