The project comprised of three parts:
The sewage treatment plant in Jihlava was reconstructed and extended to the capacity of 99, 917 equivalent persons. The technology line of the plant was renovated so that treated sewage would meet the conditions set by the latest regulations, and the plant extension would secure a reserve capacity to cater for the further development of the city. The new technology uses the system of combined disposal of nitrogen and phosphorus (the R-AN-D-OAN system). The sludge generated is stabilized through an anaerobic process and then incinerated.
At the same time, the implemented project secured the complete sewage discharge from the remote municipalities of Antonínův Důl and Pávov by means of a separation system of sewage collection, with 1,650 households connected to it. The sewage from the location is carried away to the central sewage treatment plant in Jihlava.
The project also dealt with the renovation and increase in capacity of the most problematic sections of the unified sewage collection network in Jihlava and its extension to other locations. The B, BA, AA sewage collectors and the public sewer in Znojemská Street were reconstructed. New public sewers were constructed in the locations of Sasov, Hotov, Pístov and Helenín, enabling other 820 households to be connected.
In total, 24.682 m of new (gravitational and pressure) drain lines, nine pumping stations on the sewage collection network, one storm-water tank including a pumping station, and one cyclone separator were constructed under the project.
