Within the project of the construction of the new Terminal North II of the Prague-Ruzyně international airport it was necessary to renovate obsolete facilities of the waste water treatment plants at the airport. With a view to the around-the-clock operation of the airport, the work was divided to three phases:

  • Modernization of the South waste water treatment plant and the sewage treatment plant – Phase 1
  • Optimization of the South waste water treatment plant and the sewage treatment plant
  • Completion of the technology of the North waste water treatment plant and the sewage treatment plant

Within these three phases, an overall reconstruction of the operations at the North and South treatment plants was carried out; new biological stages of purification and the obsolete processing equipment of the plants were modernized. Concurrently, new interior wiring was installed.
