Terminal North 2 of the Prague-Ruzyně International Airport and Related Structures

The departure lounge is situated on the ground floor and the arrivals lounge on the first floor.

The load-bearing structure is formed by a prefabricated reinforced-concrete frame completed with monolithic retaining walls. The core units of lift wells and staircases are made from ceramic blocks. The glassed areas of the departure lounge are supported with a thick steel structure located outside the lounge behind the plane of the glassed facade. The structure guarantees the stability of the glassed walls and transfers and dissipates pressure caused by strong wind.
