The supply of the complete construction of “Optimization of the Krasíkov – Česká Třebová Rail Route Segment, Part 2”, from the 14.770 km mark to the 22.723 km mark, i.e. 7.953 km of double-tracked line, excluding the Luková stop (16.700 – 17.050 km) and Žichlínek stop (21.000 – 21.450 km), which were included in Part 1 of the construction. The construction makes up a part of Czech Transit Railway Corridor II, meeting the following parameters: increase in the track speed up to 140 - 160 km/h for units with tilting wagon bodies, achievement of UIC GC traffic clearance, achievement of the D4 – UIC track load class – the axial load of 225 kN.

The construction included the reconstruction of the railway bed and track superstructure (the load-carrying capacity of the sleeper bed was increased, in the areas of permanent failures of the track geometric position the railway bed was fortified with 4,300 gravel concrete pillars of 70 - 90 cm diameter, going down to the depth of 4-6 m, a new system for the draining of the sleeper bed was established, and the system of the formation drainage was renewed), and also the reconstruction of the railway level crossing, six bridges and three culverts.

Track No. 1 at the length of 3.215 km was constructed with the application of a technology that does not require the track grid to be removed, by means of RPM 2002 and SUM 1000 machines. Furthermore, the overhead contact line, safety and communication facilities and the cable lines in the respective rail route segments were reconstructed. The construction had a linear character and was carried out on the existing railway bed in its entirety. The construction work was carried out under the conditions of single-track two-way operation in accordance with the construction project procedure and the capacity of the client to ensure the line was closed off to traffic.
