The construction includes mechanised reconstruction of the railway line from the Strupec station to the Roman station, Track 2 from the 100.776 km mark to the 105.806 km mark, which is 5,030 m long in total. The sub-base was executed with the projection super elevation of 4 %, geotextile was laid throughout its entire length, geogrates were additionally laid on the sites where weak earth foundation was proven; also constructed was a reprofilling layer rammed for the purposes of the required load capacity, which was proven by laboratory tests. The track-sleeper grid was completely replaced with СТ-6 sleepers, UIC 60 tracks and SKL 14 consolidation. The long-welded rail was constructed throughout the entire length of the railway line. The drainage measures were implemented at their full extent while the project was strictly complied with. Railway cutting was executed and the support wall was tiled from the 104 km mark +263 km mark to the 105 km mark +514 km mark.
All the TV masts that were not located at the required distance from the track axis and also the masts in bad technical condition – damaged or too low with respect to the railway line elevation – were replaced. The system elevation of TV was corrected for the speed of 130 km/h. New БМК 3.7/11 columns were installed in compliance with technical standards and requirements. The telecommunication and telephone cables along the railway line throughout the entire length of the rail route segment affected by the new drainage device were relocated to new places in accordance with the project. Changes in the project during the construction process were carried out at an acceptable extent in accordance with applicable technical standards and were recorded in the as-built drawings.
