Division 2 Has Been Reconstructing the Building of Railway Infrastructure Administration, State Organization, in Ostrava

In mid-January, OHL ŽS, a.s. started construction work to adapt the object of the Electro OU of the RIA in Ostrava – Přívoz. As a part of the reconstruction, the current external cladding on the 2nd and 3rd floors will be replaced with a new bricked one and the building will be fitted with insulation. The contract will also include the exchange and stabilization of the substructure of the external cladding and redevelopment of the reinforced-concrete constructions of the external bracing of the 1st floor. Adaptations will also be carried out on the loading platform and the staircase, including any necessary installations. The construction will last until the end of 2010 and has been divided into 7 phases so that the full operation of the building can be maintained. The reconstruction is being performed by the Surface Construction Branch of Division 2. The investor is the Railway Infrastructure Administration, state organization, and the cost of the reconstruction will amount to about CZK 20 million.
