Meeting in Konopiště II

On 28 June 2006, business partners and friends of our company met in the premises of the Konopiště Golf Resort.

On 28 June 2006, in a sporty atmosphere, our company’s business partners and friends met with representatives of OHL ŽS, a.s. in the premises of the Konopiště Golf Resort.

We would like to thank all those who accepted the invitation from the Chairman and CEO, Michal Štefl, to spend this exceptional day with us. For two consecutive years now, the easy-going golf atmosphere and nice weather has contributed to strengthening work relationships among the participants and hopefully, also to establishing new ones. There is a good reason for the saying – the more friends you have, the more human you are.

The management of our company was represented by the CEO and executive directors; this event was also considered to be a non-traditional opportunity of meeting partners by the CEO of OHL for international construction, Mr. Francisco Martin, whose participation undoubtedly contributed to increasing the prestige of the whole meeting.

In view of the fact that all the participants were trying to prove their knowledge and skills in golf, as well as in business matters, let’s commend the achievements of some of our employees in this area in particular:

• Josef Martinovský, the Executive Director of the Surface Construction Branch, was placed fifth in the mixed category (men & women), with HCP 28 - 36;
• Jaroslav Kopecký, the Director of the Construction Engineering Prague Division, was awarded “imaginary gold” for first place in the mixed category, HCP 37 – 54;
• Paolo Bee, the Financial Director of OHL Central Europe, a.s., was  placed second in the same category;
• Miroslav Cetl, the Economic Deputy of the 40 Branch, shone in the mixed category,with HCP 28 – 36 (he was awarded first place in this category);
• Pavel Vohánka, the Head of the Project of the Construction Engineering Prague Division, pleased with his excellent fifth place in the mixed category, HCP 37 - 54;

The other participants included for example Jan Navrátil, the Director of the Construction Engineering Ostrava Division.

We congratulate all those whose performance in the game of golf transcended the performance of the other players.

On 28 June, the best of the best in the 4 announced categories, in additional competitions, but also the best man and the best woman according to the Stableford scoring system, accepted congratulations and prizes from the Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of OHL ŽS, a.s., Michal Štefl, and a member of the Board of Directors and the Executive Director of the Surface Construction Branch, Josef Martinovský, and also from significant and honorary guests.

We wish the employees of OHL ŽS the best possible achievements not only on sports grounds, but also at work because the company would not be so successful if it were not for the diligence of every one of them.
