In October 2006, a newly designed railway station in Zábřeh na Moravě was ceremonially presented to passengers. Thus, two large building projects have been completed – “Construction of the Zábřeh na Moravě Railway Junction”, implemented by OHL ŽS and with total costs amounting to CZK 122 million, and “Redevelopment of the Railway Junction of the Šumperk and Jeseník Regions – Reconstruction of the Area in Front of the Zábřeh Railway Station”, costing CZK 20 million, which was implemented by Stavby silnic a železnic, a.s.

Under the contract, employees of OHL ŽS, a.s. reconstructed the listed historical station building in Zábřeh and next to it, built a brand new station building with a new passenger terminal. The service building, called “Klein’s store house”, also underwent reconstruction. The construction also included related underground services and service parking lots.
