The President of the Region Visited the Construction of Corridor IV

The President of the South Bohemia Region, Jan Zahradník, came to visit the construction of transit railway corridor IV. Representatives of the contractor (Michal Štefl, CEO, and Lumír Pyszko, the Construction Manager, on behalf of OHL ŽS, a.s.) answered questions asked by the President of the Region, mayors and the journalists present.

The President of the South Bohemia Region, Jan Zahradník, came to visit the construction of transit railway corridor IV in the Doubí u Tábora – Tábor section on 22 May this year. Together with him, the mayors of Tábor, Sezimovo Ústí and Planá nad Lužnicí, the residents of which are most affected by the construction, took a tour of the site.

Representatives of the contractor (Michal Štefl, CEO, and Lumír Pyszko, the Construction Manager, on behalf of OHL ŽS, a.s.) and of the other suppliers to the Railway Infrastructure Administration, state organization answered questions asked by the President of the Region, mayors and the journalists present.

The guests began their tour at the construction of the second track near Planá nad Lužnicí (in the direction of České Budějovice) and continued to the interim bridge construction between Planá and Sezimovo Ústí, finishing in Tábor, in the area of the so called Black Bridges. Then a business lunch was held at the Dvořák Hotel in Tábor.
