AMPER 2006, the largest local electrotechnics fair, took place at the beginning of April this year. As usual, OHL ŽS, a.s. was represented here by the Technology Division of its Railways Subdepartment.
Also this year, at the beginning of April, professionals as well as the general public had a chance to map out the offer of new items and technologies at AMPER 2006, the largest local electrotechnics fair. This year it was the 14th consecutive fair.
AMPER 2006 was held in the ever enlarging premises of the Exhibition Centre Prague Letňany on 4 - 7 April. The importance of this event is evidenced both by the number of exhibitors, which has already surpassed the 800 mark, from 23 countries and the interest of nearly fifty thousand visitors.
As usual, OHL ŽS, a.s. was represented here by the exposition of the Technology Division of its Railways Subdepartment.

The visitors to our exposition had a chance to see the new generation of switchboards supplying power to alternating railway traction with the voltage level of 25kV. It is a modern and to a certain extent, unique facility, the supply of which has been missing from our market so far. This product resulted from the development carried out by the Technology Division itself and is designed to be applied in the Břeclav Supply Station, which has recently been undergoing reconstruction, and as we believe, subsequently in its variations in other supply and switching stations in this country and abroad. With a view to the positive responses expressed by visitors, it may be stated that this technology meets with the avid interest of potential customers who appreciate the high comfort of operation, the safety standard of the facility and the minimized requirements as regards built-up area as well as necessary maintenance, etc.
We may certainly say that the participation of the Technology Division of the Railways Subdepartment in this year’s AMPER trade fair fulfilled its purpose and enhanced the image of the Division as one of the innovative technology leaders in the supply technology field and as a reliable and technically capable partner for the construction and reconstruction of electrotechnics technologies in general.
