On 29 - 30 November 2005, experts from the MOSAN branch of ŽS Brno, a. s., participated in the 6thyear of the Asphalt Road Pavements 2005 conference, which was held in České Budějovice.

On 29 - 30 November 2005, experts from the MOSAN branch of ŽS Brno, a. s., participated in the 6thyear of the Asphalt Road Pavements 2005 conference, which was held in České Budějovice.

The conference was prepared by the “Asphalt Road Pavements” section of the Czech Road Society in cooperation with the Road Contractors Association Prague. The agenda of the conference consisted of 5 topics:

1. Asphalt, additives, aggregates
2. Asphalt layers and work implementation
3. Testing and characteristics of asphalt mixtures
4. Environmental technologies, safety and the environment
5. New trends in the development of asphalt road pavements

The Road Contractors Association Prague is an interest association of 65 members (including ŽS Brno, a. s.), operating in the area of construction, reconstruction and maintenance of motorways, roads, bridge structures and related building projects. The lines of business of one part of the member companies include road and motorway designing , engineering and advisory services in the field of road construction, production and sale of building materials, products, machines and facilities, including any necessary servicing.
